New Celio Engineering SA

New Celio Engineering was founded in 1998 as a successor company to Celio Engineering, established in 1970. The firm is located in Ambrì, Switzerland, in the southern Italian-speaking part of the Alps.

The main business activity of New Celio is the development and the manufacturing of electronic and electro-optic equipment for viscosity control and ink control in the printing industry, continuing a tradition that has made the brand Celio a symbol of innovation and reliability worldwide.

VISCOLOR is a viscosity measuring and regulating system designed for the printing industry. Its flexibility permits the use in different processes concerning liquid viscosity measurement, as publication on gravure presses, packaging with solvent and water based inks on flexo and roto presses and newspapers on flexo presses.

COOLCOLOR is a complete cooling system to control ink temperature. Inks can be cooled or heated according to the needs of the process. New Celio offers different heat exchangers for all climate conditions.

SOLCOLOR system provides simultaneous solvent blending at each printing unit. It is intended to be integrated ino a VISCOLOR system (VISCOSOLCOLOR).

WASHCOLOR is a special cleaning system for the automatic washing of printing units, that accelerates the shift from one job to the next. WASHCOLOR is designed and built to completely recover leftovers of inks in the pipes, clean the entire ink feeding and save solvent consumption by re-using it.

RAVICOLOR is an ink managing system for gravure publication printing. It is composed of two different systems, VISCOLOR and RATIOCOLOR, optimized to work in perfect synergy. The system has a centralized supervisor and an individual interface at each unit to optimize operators’ work.
